Growth Service team Seed Processing Holland in the U.S. - Our first Field Service Technician in the U.S.

June 12, 2018

In 2014 we have decided to expand our global activities by opening up a Seed Processing Holland Inc. Regional Sales Office in the US. We still recognize the importance of the North American seed market and wish to enhance our service level in this region by having more direct presence. That’s why we have attracted a local Field Service Technician in the US. We believe in the high value of working side by side with customers and this will enable us to do so and to bring the right solutions to our customers.

Thus with great pleasure, we inform you of the addition of Robert Williams as a Field Service Technician to our Service team as per March 19, 2018. He brings with him over 17 years of maintenance experience in the food production industry. His previous role was doing maintenance on-site for an international almond factory. This is where he acquired a lot of experience around drying techniques. Although he recognizes that the heating of almonds is significantly different from the seed drying techniques which are being used in the Seed Processing Holland equipment.

He has extensive knowledge in electronics, programming and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) troubleshooting. Robert is very pleased to deal directly with the customers in this new role and serve them to the best of his abilities. He showed a perfect example of this already during his first days at Seed Processing Holland. Without any training, he was needed at a customer to solve an issue with a temperature sensor in a seed dryer. Within a couple of hours, he was able to resolve the issue and satisfy the customer.

In April he came to our Seed Processing Holland head office in Enkhuizen for an onboarding program. As well he has learned to appreciate the beautiful city and couldn’t return to the US without having visited the Zuiderzeemuseum.

Feel free to give Robert a personal welcome via Robert.williams@seedprocessing.nl.

Keep sending your service requests to Stephan Vriend, Product Manager Service & Aftersales: Stephan.vriend@seedprocessing.nl. He will distribute the requests amongst the Service team and where necessary and appropriate to Robert.
