Rich Yamashita joins BioWorks as Field Development Manager

Rich Yamashita has been named Field Development Manager at BioWorks, home to the RootShield®, BotaniGard®, CEASE®, Molt-X®, MilStop®, NemaShield® and SuffOil-X® brands of biopesticides and Verdanta® and ON-Gard® brands of biofertilizers. In his new position, Mr. Yamashita will be responsible for implementing a diverse field research program for existing and developing products. In addition, he will support various customer innovation strategies in coordination with R&D, Sales, Marketing and Tech Services.

Mr. Yamashita has over 30 years of field development and sales experience in production agriculture, turf and horticulture markets. He previously held positions at Western Nutrients Corporation, Advanced Microbial Solutions, Mycotech Biological and Wilbur-Ellis. Mr. Yamashita's primary responsibility at BioWorks will be to design and manage biological performance studies that support new product discovery and development.
