Gro Alliance, the nation’s largest, independently owned seed corn production company, announces that it has reached an agreement with BCD Enterprises, LLC to acquire its soybean and sunflower seed conditioning and packaging facility. Located in Breckenridge, Minn, the facility was formerly owned by Seeds2000 and is currently managed by Legend Seeds.
“Acquiring the Breckenridge location is the perfect opportunity to expand our operations into both soybeans and sunflowers with one move,” said Jim Schweigert, President of Gro Alliance. “By partnering with Gro Alliance on production capacity, retail companies can put their full focus on growing sales. This is truly a win-win for Gro Alliance and Legend Seeds.”

Closing is scheduled for summer of 2016.
