Andrew Heath has been hired for the role of Western Wisconsin District Sales Manager. Andrew will be assuming the responsibilities of Nina Holte, who has taken the role of Agronomy Services Manager for Legacy Seeds. Andrew grew up on a farm in Plum City, WI and recently graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Agronomy and Seed Science. He has extensive experience in seed corn production, alfalfa breeding trials, and as a Trait Lab Assistant at the Iowa State Seed Science Center in Ames. Andrew will be living in the West Salem area.
Kyle Govin has been offered a summer internship with Legacy Seeds. Kyle is the son of John and Julie Govin and grew up on Govin’s Meats and Berries in the Menomonie area. Kyle is currently attending UW River Falls and he will be assisting the Legacy team of experts throughout the summer.
Ryan Saunders has joined the Legacy Seeds time as our new Warehouse Manager. Ryan previously worked as a warehouse lead at Walmart’s regional distribution center in Sparta, Wisconsin. Ryan brings operational experience in Global Logistics Systems. In addition he has been a team member and leader of hazardous materials, safety team, damage control, and fire safety. Ryan, his wife Holly, and their two daughters reside in Waupaca.
Collin Durrant has joined our team for the role of Packaging Lead/General Warehouse. Based on our current need for RIB blending and increased volume of forage and cover crop lines, Legacy Seeds will have a great appreciation for this position. Most recently, Collin was at Sturm Foods in Manawa, Wisconsin as mixing lead. Collin was responsible for training employees to run the mixing process and associated computer equipment. Collin and his family live near Waupaca.
