New items at Seed Hawk’s Farm Progress Show booth

Langbank, Saskatchewan, Canada
June 5, 2013

Seed Hawk looks forward to introducing their latest innovations at the Farm Progress Show in Regina, June 19-21. The event provides an opportunity for the agriculture industry to share new developments with farmers and industry professionals.

This year, Seed Hawk introduces Tempo, a fast, precise corn planter new to North American agriculture. While capable of planting at speeds up to 10.5 mph – over double the speed of traditional corn planters – the new machine has proven performance with remarkably low instances of skips and doubles and accurate seed placement. Tempo was developed in Europe by Väderstad, Seed Hawk’s minority interest partner.

“Seed Hawk is very excited to bring Tempo to North American corn growers,” says Pat Beaujot, President of Seed Hawk. “Our partnership with Väderstad has allowed us to introduce farmers in Canada and the U.S. to unique, proven technology like Tempo. Väderstad has the same commitment as Seed Hawk to bringing grower-focused solutions to market that improve our customer’s bottom line.”

Visitors to the Seed Hawk booth will also have the opportunity to try out the SCT Savings Simulator™. Farmers can use the software to select a quarter or full section of land, set input costs, and virtually “seed” their land. The Simulator lets farmers determine how much they can save on their own land by eliminating overlaps with Sectional Control® technology.

Visit the Seed Hawk booth at Farm Progress Show or SeedHawk.com to see the latest innovations from Seed Hawk.

Since 1992, Seed Hawk has been building precision seeding systems to better equip farmers and improve agricultural practices. Seed Hawk manufactures state-of-the-art, zero-tillage seeding systems that are sold in Canada, the U.S., Australia, and Eastern and Western Europe.
