This year we have done it again! Westrup apprentice Mathias Andersen has recently received a medal of honour for his very special test piece made for his final blacksmith exam. The medal was presented at a festive ceremony held at Copenhagen City Hall in the attendance of the Danish Queen. This ceremony is a recurring event taking place each year where the best apprentices in Denmark within many different trades are honoured for their entrepreneurship.
Westrup is very proud to be able to unfold people with such a high degree of professional pride, which is only possible because the experienced employees at Westrup invest the necessary time in teaching young people a specific trade they can be proud of.
