Tracy Norcross joins Renze Seeds a District Sales Manager for northwest Missouri

Templeton, Iowa
July 17, 2009

Tracy Norcross joins Renze Seeds as a district sales manager serving dealers and customers in a new northwest Missouri territory. He brings ten years of experience in the seed industry to the newly created district along with enthusiasm for the Renze brand.

“I am excited to introduce Renze Seeds to northwest Missouri,” Norcross stated. “This is a company maintaining its family-owned business model, focused on the needs of their customers. At the same time, their affiliation with Dow AgroSciences gives them access to nearly all the technologies available along with their excellent sourcing of foundation genetics.”

Renze Seeds retains its ability to manage the business locally, per Norcross. “I see Renze’s affiliation with Dow AgroScience as a corporate backing, not corporate management,” he said. “Dow lets seed companies do what they do best for the customer without micromanaging.”

Dan Swalla, director of sales and marketing for Renze Seeds, worked with Norcross previously. “Tracy’s agronomic skills and customer focus are exactly what we and our customers expect. I know he will be an excellent addition to the growing Renze family,” Swalla remarked.

Norcross took the position with Renze Seeds because their commitment to service and quality appealed to him. “Renze will bend over backwards to provide service to make it happen for their customers. We want to surpass their expectations,” he explained.

Renze Seeds maintains the flexibility to produce hybrids and varieties specifically for their customers’ geographical needs, according to Norcross. “Renze Seeds is an Iowa-based company, however, the product line reflects the needs of the customers in Missouri, Minnesota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas as well,” he commented. “We will produce the seed our customers need to be successful.”

Norcross resides in Overland Park, Kansas. He has three daughters – Abby, 15; Madeline, 12; and Olivia, 10. In his free time, Norcross enjoys running, waterfowling, and aviation.
