Boston, Massachusetts, USA
December 9, 2024

Reporting to Georg Goeres, Head of Indigo Ag’s Biological Products Business Unit, Angela will lead Indigo’s commercial team in North America, overseeing strategy and go-to-market execution to drive growth. She will work to scale commercial sales and marketing activities and build strong distributor and seed partner relationships.

Angela is a highly experienced and seasoned industry leader. She joins Indigo from Ginkgo Bioworks, where she spearheaded new business development and relationship-building, closing research collaboration deals to address customer challenges in ag biologicals, plant traits, and bioproduction. With over 20 years of experience across multiple industries, Angela has a proven track record of successfully driving large-scale strategy development and execution.

Additionally, Angela serves as a Board Member on the Agriculture and Environment Board of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), the largest advocacy association in the world representing the biotechnology industry.

Commenting on her appointment, Angela Ailloni said, "I am excited to join Indigo to lead the North America Biologicals Commercial team. I've enjoyed a long career in ag, ag biologicals, and sustainability, from my time at Land O’Lakes and with Truterra, and most recently with Ginkgo Bioworks. I’m a strong believer in ag biologicals and the wins they bring to growers, soil, yield, and climate. Together with the team, we are excited to bring the CLIPS seed treatment innovation to market and expand Indigo’s biologicals reach in North America."

Georg Goeres, Head of Indigo's Biological Business, said, “I am thrilled that someone of Angela’s caliber is joining Indigo. We are seeing strong momentum in our biological business and I am confident that together with the team, she will be successful in accelerating our growth in North America.”
