Amphasys launches its latest smart chips for onion, carrot and beet

Switzerland
June 6, 2024

Amphasys is excited to announce the latest addition to our product line: smart chips for onion, carrot and beet crops. These innovative chips are designed to enable systematic screening of pollen quality, improving outcomes in breeding and seed production by better understanding the reproductive properties of your lines.

Our new chips help to phenotype lines and turn breeding and seed production of the biennial crops more efficient: identification of the best pollinator lines, check of fertility restoration, optimization of crop placement, and a higher success in manual pollination. Thanks to the automated data analysis of the smart chips, results are instantly available, reliable, and accurate. Paired with the portable Ampha P20 Pollen Analyzer, measurements can be performed directly in the field or greenhouse.
