DLF and the International Seed Testing Association's Bulking and Sampling Committee invite to a workshop on Seed Sampling and Quality Assurance in Seed Sampling in Odense, Denmark from May 31-June 3
The workshop will focus on seed lot sampling, labeling and sealing, automatic seed sampling, sample reduction, and quality assurance. As the workshop will be held at a large seed cleaning and production site in Højme, there will be a lot of practical exercises after each session.
The main topics will be manual and automatic seed sampling, sample dividing, quality assurance in seed sampling, and monitoring of seed samplers. The workshop will also cover marking, labeling, and sealing of seed lots and samples.
We will discuss the ISTA Rules and use the ISTA Handbook on Seed Sampling during the workshop, as well as the ISTA Accreditation Standard in connection to seed sampling.
Please take note that the 3rd Edition of the ISTA Handbook on Seed Sampling 2022 will be published end-March or early April 2022, this is the version that will be used during the Workshop.
