Under Proposal P1055, we’re proposing to amend the definitions for 'food produced using gene technology' and 'gene technology' in the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (the Food Standards Code).

To support the recent public consultation on this proposal, we hosted a public webinar on 12 November 2021.  The webinar was a good opportunity for us to provide further details about our assessment and answer key questions from stakeholders.
