Seed Processing installations meet robotics at Seed meets Technology

The Netherlands
September 6,2018

To decrease heavy lifting, enable 24/7 operations and have a higher return on seed processing installation investments, robot handling systems are becoming more common within the seed industry. That’s why Seed Processing Holland has combined their seed processing expertise with the robotics expertise of Rolan Robotics to develop installations where these two innovative worlds come together.

During Seed meets Technology, 25-27 September in Zwaagdijk, the Netherlands, we will show on our stand how to integrate a robot handling system in a seed disinfection an drying process. You will get to experience the robot arm handling seed drums via a Virtual Reality (VR) experience. Furthermore, you will be challenged to operate a robot yourself.

Seed meets Technology will take place in Zwaagdijk, the Netherlands and is THE event in the seed sector where you can see the latest innovations in seed technology and attend a variety of interesting lectures about the latest trends in the seed sector. The event is a meeting point for visitors to various seed companies in the Seed Valley region that same week. You are also welcome to visit SPH’s production facility which is 15 minutes’ drive from the SMT show.

We look forward to sharing more of our innovations with you and meeting during this event from the 25th until the 27th of September.
