Applications are now open for The Sainsbury Laboratory 2020 Summer School. This year’s school themed Plant Microbe Interactions takes place between July 20 and 29.
The last 20 years have seen advanced understanding of how plants recognise conserved microbial patterns to activate defence.
The course will present many aspects of plant microbe interactions including: gene discovery, genome analysis, intra-cellular interactions with imaging technology and mechanistic understanding of cellular and molecular processes.
Instructors for the dynamic and interactive practical sessions will include TSL group leaders who will be joined by external guest speakers.
A maximum of 20 participants can take part. Participants can be at any career stage prior to being a group leader, or from any sector and may be resident in any country.
