Export of Dutch breeding knowledge to New Zealand

The New Zealand Institute of Plant & Food Resarch (PFR) has decided to use a software tool for their breeding administration that was developed by a Dutch IT company.

PFR is well known for a lot of fruit varieties they developed that we find in the supermarket today, like kiwi, apple and berries.

The company Agri Information Partners has developed the software package together with Dutch breeders. With the new software,

PFR aims to stimulate the development of new varieties.
