Abstract

‘Jiza 16’is a new F1 hybrid Huanan cucumber. It’s female parent is 01104-1-2-0-0，male parent is 02-196-1-1-1-m-m-m. It takes about 55 days from sowing to harvesting. It grows vigorously, and has middle size leaves and well developed root system. The plant height is 380 cm and vine thickness is 0.95 cm. The average fruit length is 20-25 cm. The single fruit weight is 150-210 g. It has higher resistant to downy mildew than‘Hei 291’in the field. Its average yield is 95.0 t?hm-2. It is suitable for cultivation in protected fields in Jilin Province.
