Hazera Genetics
Israel

I spent most of my career in the pharmaceutical industry, working for Teva Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Israel. I think that there are many similarities between the seed industry and pharmaceuticals, mainly the long R&D process, heavy regulation, QC importance and long testing of new products. In addition, Teva is very strong in long term planning and in managing change. All the above helped me a lot in my integration to Hazera Genetics and to the seed industry, 4 years ago.

I am sure that experience in the seed industry can be of great benefit to industries that either deeply involved in R&D or deeply involved in global activity. I think that a seed company is a very complex organization to manage, much more than in many other industries, thus it prepares managers that are capable to manage complexity and integration.
