Fall Creek Nursery is adding to our management team and we are looking for an experienced propagator. We grow millions of blueberry plants every year and we need you to help make it all happen.

This position is responsible for implementing the transplanting, fertilizing, irrigation, storage and shipment plans for the propagation plants. This position is also responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the department including employee supervision and development.

This position requires a high degree of independent professional judgment in decision making, forecasting, and problem solving.

Candidates should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, plant science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in plant propagation preferably working with greenhouse plug production or in a production bedding plant operation.
• Knowledge of plant tissue culture and conventional plant propagation techniques.
• 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory role with direct responsibility for managing and developing staff.
• Effective oral and written communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to interact effectively within a diverse workforce.
