To support that challenge, the Production & Supply team is currently seeking a Plant Operations Intern, located in Pasco, Washington. To aid in the development of future professionals in plant operations, who will maintain the highest HSE practices and standards. Candidates experience real world opportunities and challenges of leading plant operations while ensuring employee safety and meeting production requirements. Position will take on several key roles including seed conditioning, project planning/management and HSE. Complete a project focused on improving safety and/or quality in plant processes.

Job Description
You Will:
- Foster a culture founded on adherence to all applicable HSE, Quality and other corporate policies, procedures and guidelines
- Actively support an image that reflects the highest regard for health, safety, environment and quality stewardship
- Work with Site Management Team on tasks such as project planning/management, process execution, HSE and Quality Management Systems updates (customer complaints, audits, Non-conformities, JSA’s, Program review, etc.)
- Participate in daily tier meetings, HSE Oversight Committee, Management Review, KPI meetings and other team meetings as needed
- Assisting with customer complaint, non-conformity, safety observations and continuous improvement ideas
- Perform other duties as required to meet plant needs
Qualifications
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Ag Business, Business Administration, Occupational Health, or another closely related field of study
- A passion for Occupational Safety
- An interest in the agricultural industry
- Lean or Six experience is preferred
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the US
