Status: Full-time

Requirements:

• BS degree in biology, plant science or related field required with 5+ years experience in agriculture or agricultural research
• Basic knowledge of seed production and seed technology
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical and methodical thinking, self-reliant
• Understands basic research guidelines
• Knowledge of multi crop agronomic culture
• Computer literate

Accountabilities:

• Develop and write research proposals
• Maintain accurate data records
• Perform various functions involved in the project assignment such as coating, priming, or disinfecting, planting emergence tests, data collection in lab and field, and database maintenance, inventory management and analysis and interpretation of research data.
• Complete a minimum of 10 experiments per year
• To provide technical service and counsel to production and sales/marketing. Interaction and communication critical.
• Present research results and presentation in R&D meetings and Sales/R&D meetings
• Maintain labs, storerooms and laboratory equipment
