GMOs and sweet corn seed purity at Harris Moran
.
Although these methods are extensive, a few of the key parts of our process are:

• No GMO products are handled or processed in our Nampa sweet corn facility.

• All stock seed lots are tested for the presence of GMO and must test "negative at the 0.1% limit of quantification" to be used in hybrid seed production.

• All hybrid and stock seed fields are isolated by at least 1/2 mile from any GMO sweet corn field.

• HM and the sweet corn seed industry work closely with the Idaho Crop Improvement Association to "pin" production area maps with any GMO sweet corn field. This information is shared with the industry so individual companies can maintain their isolation standards.

• Production equipment is inspected prior to use by HM personnel to insure handling equipment is free from foreign material prior to use.

Our intention is to supply you with seed that meets your Non-GMO purity requirements, but please keep in mind that Zero is not possible, nor is it testable.

If your requirements are critical, we suggest you have independent tests run of your seed lots before planting. Please see our Limitation of Warranty and Liability for more information on Harris Moran seed.

Harris Moran will continue to keep close tabs on market and regulatory requirements for Non-GMO seed and we remain committed to supplying you with seed that meets your specifications within the limitations of agricultural seed production.
