 Pioneer Hi-Bred
Limited recently named Robert Larmer dairy key accounts
specialist for southwestern Ontario. Larmer will focus on
customers’ needs in the dairy and forage industry and manage the
communications flow between Pioneer and southwestern Ontario
dairy producers.
Larmer will be based in Guelph, Ontario. He holds an Honours
Program bachelor of science degree in animal biology from the
University of Guelph. Most recently, Larmer was a dairy
specialist/nutritionist with Grand Valley Fortifiers, providing
on-farm advice to farmers.
Pioneer is continuing to expand research and development efforts
in forages and inoculants specifically for dairy producers, and
Larmer will bring added focus and resources to the growing
Pioneer team.
“With my dairy background and the enormous research resources of
Pioneer, I am looking forward to providing dairy farmers with
technical support on Pioneer forage and inoculant products.”
Larmer says. “My position will allow me to share information on
Pioneer products with dairy farmers, helping them to be more
profitable.”
