Syngenta Seeds, Inc. investigates locations in the U.S. Corn Belt to build a new corn production facility

Syngenta Seeds, Inc. today announced it has begun exploring locations in the Corn Belt to build a new corn production facility. The proposed facility will supplement current corn production for Syngenta and will ensure adequate supplies to meet the anticipated demand for hybrids with Agrisure traits marketed through the Syngenta seed brands of Garst, Golden Harvest, and NK.

Syngenta is conducting its search for potential sites throughout several states in the Corn Belt. Syngenta will seek a location where our facility and new employees can build a strong and mutually beneficial relationship for the local economy. Syngenta is a valued employer and contributes to many local economies around the United States with corn and soybean production and research facilities in 47 communities.

More information will be provided as the search and selection process moves forward.
