Syngenta announces AgriEdge corn program redemption season

.

Greensboro, North Carolina
July 16, 2007

Syngenta announced today it has begun processing redemption forms from growers who participated in the 2007 AgriEdge® Corn program and will continue receiving claims until November 15, 2007. Growers who planted corn hybrids with Agrisure™ traits are automatically eligible to participate in AgriEdge Corn programs that provide industry-leading assurances and Technology Reinvestments.

“The AgriEdge Corn program is designed to provide growers with customizable, season-long seed and crop protection solutions that best suit their agronomic needs,” says Rex Wichert, AgriEdge Corn business manager, “The program combines the best technologies with unique Technology Reinvestments that reimburse growers for the full value of overlapping technology. This gives growers the flexibility to make in-season adjustments to their weed and insect control programs, and allows them to focus on maximizing the full yield potential of their hybrid’s genetics to increase crop productivity.”

Any grower who plants a qualifying NK®, Garst®, Golden Harvest® or other brand corn hybrid with Agrisure™ traits is eligible to participate in AgriEdge Corn, which protects the seed investment with a weed or insect management system.

Growers can get an AgriEdge Corn Redemption Form when settling the seed account with their seed dealer. Forms can also be downloaded from www.AgriEdge.com. To submit a Technology Reinvestment claim, growers should send the completed AgriEdge Redemption Form no later than November 15, 2007 along with proof of purchases to the AgriEdge Redemption Center: Growers can expect to receive their Technology Reinvestment 4 to 6 weeks after all required documentation is received.
