Syngenta announced today that John C.
Rabby, formerly group vice president with BASF, has been named
vice president of Corporate Alliance for Syngenta's crop
protection business in North America.
Rabby will lead the company's key
distributor account management team and oversee wholesale and
retail programs. His appointment is effective September 1.
Rabby has 27 years' experience in the crop
protection industry. Prior to his role at BASF, he served in
various research, sales, marketing and senior management roles
with American Cyanamid. He earned a bachelor's degree in
entomology as well as a master's degree in pest management at
Mississippi State University.
