Golden Harvest announces the new position of Marketing Services Director

As The J.C. Robinson Seed Co. continues to grow, there are increasing demands on departments responsible for marketing business functions. To ensure that the focus remains on the customer and on fulfilling, or exceeding, the needs of the customer, the new position of Marketing Services Director has been created.

Jon Blasing is promoted from marketing information manager to fill the new position. "With Jon’s 11 years of experience in the Company in marketing and sales, he understands the information flow from the customer to the Company back to the customer. This knowledge, along with Jon’s commitment to being the customers’ champion, is the right combination to launch this new position," Ron Wulfkuhle, director of marketing and sales said.

The Marketing Services Director is responsible to manage and coordinate the activities of the Dealer Business Center, the primary contact with the Company’s farmer dealer network, Customer Support, the voice-to-voice contact with customers, and Marketing Information, responsible for e-commerce. "My duties include planning and implementing procedures to improve business systems, e-commerce and customer relationship management," Blasing said.

Blasing started his career with The J.C. Robinson Seed Co. as a Sales Trainee. He then moved into the District Sales Manager position in southwest Minnesota. Two years ago, Blasing joined the marketing team in the corporate headquarters in Waterloo, NE, as marketing information manager.
