Harvest announces the creation of a Management Council, which will prove expanded leadership to The J.C. Robinson Seed Co., headquartered in Waterloo, Nebraska.
The formation of the Management Council brings representation from all four areas of the company—finance/administration, operations, research, and sales/marketing— together to develop company-wide business planning.
"We are creating an executive-level Management Council to meet the needs of an evolving, growing seed company in the changing agriculture marketplace," said Ed Robinson, President. "This empowered leadership group will allow us to better serve both our employees and our customers. The group will be responsible for daily operations as well as the creation of business plans and business systems."
Management Council members include:
- Doug Robinson, Senior Vice President;
- Rob Robinson, Executive Vice President;
- Hobart Beeghly, Director of Research;
- Brian Hoppes, Vice President Finance;
- Steve Schmidt, Vice President Operations; and
- Ron Wulfkuhle, Director of Sales and Marketing.
Brian Hoppes is chair of the Council. The addition of the Management Council is an indicator of the company’s growth and expansion.
