July 27, 1999Garst Seed Company officials announce the addition of
John Deere Credit to their list of financing options for Garst customers. With this latest
financing tool, Garst adds even more financing
flexibility for their customers.
"We are very pleased to announce the addition of John
Deere Credit to our list of seed and input financing options," says Larry Lenz,
financial services manager for Garst Seed Company. "With the continued pressures of
low commodity prices and tight cash flow situations, we are constantly looking for ways to
help Garst customers find the best financial solution for their particular operation. We
feel that John Deere Credit's multitude of plans and programs gives our customers even
more financing tools to choose from."
With multiple plans to choose from, this new agreement
between Garst and John Deere Credit will provide qualified customers with complete crop
input financing flexibility with several different levels of credit limits.
Two of the more popular John Deere Credit plans that will be
available to Garst customers include FAS TRAK*, with a credit range from $10,000 to
$150,000 and the Expanded Credit plan for financing needs over $150,000. With worldwide
operations headquarters and a processing center located in West Des Moines, Iowa, John
Deere Credit is one of agriculture's leading financing providers.
Multiple Financing Plans
In addition to this most recent association with John Deere
Credit, Garst has a full line up of total crop and seed only financing options available
to qualified customers.
"With the ever-increasing crunch on input capital for
today's agricultural producers, we realize that 'one size' doesn't fit all of our
customers' financing needs," adds Lenz. He notes that Garst offers a very
comprehensive line up of financing partners and products. "We're very proud of the
line up
of financing options that we've put together for our customers. And our Garst Gold Plan is
a seed industry benchmark when it comes to deferred payment, interest free
financing."
The other Garst plans include:
- Garst Gold Plan - Garst's industry-leading deferred payment
option for seed purchases. Second year and beyond customers in good standing pay 0% down
and all interest will be forgiven on accounts paid in full by November 15 of that same
crop year.
- FarmPro Services, Inc. - Garst's association with FarmPro
Services is for complete crop production financing, including seed, fertilizer, crop
protection products, cash rent, fuel and even irrigation costs.
- Ag Services of America - Garst customers can apply for Ag
Services of America's AgriFlex Credit for a wide range of inputs, including complete crop
inputs as well as land, equipment and other needs.
- AgSmart - Offering minimum payment amounts and terms on
Operating Loans from $5,000 to $100,000. AgSmart's flexibility can cover seasonal
expenses, including seed, fertilizer, fuel, labor and more.
"We know how difficult modern production agriculture can
be," adds Lenz. "And offering our Garst customers a wide range of flexible
financing options in addition to our top-performing seed products is just another way that
we have committed and dedicated ourselves to our customers' success."
