Garst Seed Company recently promoted Lloyd Chapins to its Texas team as a regional sales manager.

As regional sales manager, Chapins will supervise Garst’s business development throughout Texas, excluding the Texas Panhandle. He’ll work closely with Garst district sales managers and sales representatives in the state.

Chapins will continue his responsibilities as a strategic account representative for Garst, responsible for building sales with key growers in the United States while managing sales of Garst seed in Mexico. Before this, he was a central division field business manager and worked on special projects for Garst.

Chapins will be based in Winterset, Iowa.

Chapins graduated from North Central Missouri State with an applied science degree in agricultural production.

“Lloyd has held various sales and management positions within Garst for more than 15 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in his field,” says Glen Edwards, western sales manager for Garst Seed Company. “His background and expertise will be invaluable in leading his new sales team.”
