Garst Seed Company
recently promoted Lloyd Chapins to its Texas team as a regional
sales manager.
As regional sales manager, Chapins will supervise Garst’s
business development throughout Texas, excluding the Texas
Panhandle. He’ll work closely with Garst district sales managers
and sales representatives in the state.
Chapins will continue his responsibilities as a strategic
account representative for Garst, responsible for building sales
with key growers in the United States while managing sales of
Garst seed in Mexico. Before this, he was a central division
field business manager and worked on special projects for Garst.
Chapins will be based in Winterset, Iowa.
Chapins graduated from North Central Missouri State with an
applied science degree in agricultural production.
“Lloyd has held various sales and management positions within
Garst for more than 15 years and has a wealth of knowledge and
experience in his field,” says Glen Edwards, western sales
manager for Garst Seed Company. “His background and expertise
will be invaluable in leading his new sales team.”
