Syngenta announced today that its new cereal herbicide, Axial, has received registrations in Canada and the US. It will be launched in these two of the world’s five leading cereal markets for the 2006 season, as well as in the UK where the product obtained registration last September. Axial is expected to achieve peak global sales of at least $150 million annually.

Wie Syngenta heute bekannt gab, erhielt das neue Getreideherbizid des Unternehmens, Axial, in Kanada und den USA die Zulassung der zuständigen Behörden. Das Produkt kommt damit in zwei der fünf führenden Getreideanbaugebiete der Welt, sowie in Grossbritannien, in der Saison 2006 auf den Markt. In Grossbritannien wurde es bereits im vergangenen September zugelassen. Axial soll weltweite Spitzenumsätze von mindestens USD 150 Millionen pro Jahr erzielen.

Syngenta a annoncé aujourd’hui l’homologation d’Axial, son nouvel herbicide pour céréales, au Canada et aux Etats-Unis, deux des cinq principaux marchés céréaliers au monde. Ce produit y sera lancé pour la saison 2006, tout comme au Royaume-Uni, qui a obtenu l’homologation en septembre dernier. Axial devrait réaliser à maturité un chiffre d’affaires d'au moins 150 millions $ par an.
