Garst Seed Company
recently named Chris Engle, Jr., as a district sales manager in
Michigan.
Engle will provide expertise to growers and help build Garst’s
business and its reputation for providing quality service and
products. Engle’s territory includes Lansing to northern
Michigan. He will be based in St. Louis, Mich.
Most recently, Engle was an agronomist for Royster Clark in
Freeland, Mich., where he helped increase fertilizer and crop
protection sales. Prior to this, Engle was an agronomist at
Harvey Milling in Carson City, Mich.
“Chris comes to Garst with an extensive background in
agriculture, sales and retail management,” says Gene Kassmeyer,
eastern sales manager for Garst Seed Company. “He will be able
to provide valuable expertise to customers and will be a great
addition to the Garst team.”
Engle received his bachelor’s degree in agricultural business
management from Michigan State University.
