Garst Seed Company announces the recent release of nine new corn hybrids for 2007. Eight of the nine have multiple traits for herbicide resistance and disease and insect protection.

New Garst Corn Hybrids for 2007

8679CRW/RR boasts YieldGard1 corn rootworm technology with outstanding yield and stability. It has excellent ear flex and herbicide flexibility with the Roundup Ready1 trait. It has a 105 GRM.

8581YPL/RR, a 108 GRM hybrid, combines superb top-end yields with dependable stalk and root strength. Stacked YieldGard traits provide protection against rootworm and corn borer. It offers herbicide flexibility with the Roundup Ready trait.

8584YPL/IT is a tall hybrid with good ear flex and drydown. Its YieldGard traits protect against several types of corn rootworm and European and Southwestern corn borer. This 108 GRM hybrid also has herbicide flexibility with the CLEARFIELD* Production System.

8551RR is an industry leader in grain yields, plus it provides versatility for silage production. With the flexibility of the Roundup Ready system, this tall hybrid exhibits good stalk strength. It has a 109 GRM.

Superior yields, unique genetics and YieldGard corn rootworm technology are highlights of 8425CRW/RR. This 110 GRM hybrid provides strong early growth for tillage management adaptability and herbicide flexibility with the Roundup Ready trait.

8547YG1/RR is a 110 GRM hybrid with excellent tolerance to heat and moisture stress. It has superb yield performance across various environments and is stacked with the YieldGard corn borer trait and the Roundup Ready system for season-long protection.  

Expect excellent yield potential from 8483CRW/RR and superior corn rootworm protection with the YieldGard trait. The flexible ear allows for population adaptability. It offers herbicide flexibility with the Roundup Ready trait and a 112 GRM.  

8343YPL/RR is an exciting new yield leader with unique genetics and double-stacked YieldGard traits that protect against rootworm and corn borer. This 116 GRM hybrid also offers herbicide flexibility with the Roundup Ready trait.  

8249YG1/RR boasts industry-leading genetics, outstanding yield potential and the YieldGard corn borer trait. This 117 GRM hybrid offers a tall, robust canopy, excellent late-season health and flexibility with the Roundup Ready system. It also provides strong agronomics and stable yields in low management settings.
