Garst Seed Company recently added Josh Erwin to its Nebraska team as an area agronomist. Erwin will provide agronomic support to growers in northeast Nebraska. He will be based in Stuart, Nebraska.

Prior to joining Garst, Erwin was a crop specialist with Servi-Tech, Inc. in Nebraska. Before this, he held agronomy internships with Novartis Crop Protection and the seed division of Ciba Geigy.

Erwin graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences with an emphasis in agronomy.

“Josh is a Nebraska native and has a great depth of knowledge of production issues specific to Nebraska growers,” says Jim Bueltel, western agronomy services manager for Garst. “He will be able to provide valuable agronomic expertise to producers in the state and will be a great addition to the Garst team.”

Garst Seed Company, with headquarters in Slater, Iowa, provides seed solutions for growers across North America with high yielding corn, soybean, sorghum, alfalfa and sunflower products.

Garst Seed Company is affiliated with Syngenta, a world-leading agribusiness committed to sustainable agriculture through innovative research and technology.
