Garst Seed Company
recently added Josh Erwin to its Nebraska team as an area
agronomist. Erwin will provide agronomic support to growers in
northeast Nebraska. He will be based in Stuart, Nebraska.
Prior to joining Garst, Erwin was a crop specialist with
Servi-Tech, Inc. in Nebraska. Before this, he held agronomy
internships with Novartis Crop Protection and the seed division
of Ciba Geigy.
Erwin graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a
bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences with an emphasis in
agronomy.
“Josh is a Nebraska native and has a great depth of knowledge of
production issues specific to Nebraska growers,” says Jim
Bueltel, western agronomy services manager for Garst. “He will
be able to provide valuable agronomic expertise to producers in
the state and will be a great addition to the Garst team.”
