Nick Hanson
recently joined Garst Seed
Company as area agronomist in northwest Iowa. Hanson will be
responsible for providing agronomic expertise and product
information to growers in 22 counties in Iowa.
Previously, Hanson was a seed specialist for J.C. Robinson Seed
in Estherville, Iowa. Prior to that, Hanson was a seed manager
for Great Lakes Co-op in Milford, Iowa.
Hanson is a certified crop advisor in Iowa. He will be based in
Estherville, Iowa.
Hanson received his bachelor’s degree in agronomy and seed
science from Iowa State University.

for the western United States. “He brings tremendous knowledge
