Expanded services, improved sales and technical
support, and more variety information are just a few of the
improvements to the newly designed
Delta and Pine Land
Company (D&PL) website:
www.deltaandpine.com.
Working with its marketing partner, Brighton
Agency in St. Louis, D&PL gave its Web site a total re-build.
The new site went live August 10.
“As the leader in the cotton seed business, we
strive to set the industry standard for technology and service,”
said Jim Willeke, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for
D&PL. “The goal of our Web site makeover was to develop an
easy-to-use information source customers can use to make
informed decisions, whether they are looking for a local weather
update, performance data on the leading cotton varieties in the
United States – DP 444 BG/RR and DP 555 BG/RR – or information
about new varieties and technologies such as DP 454 BG/RR and
Roundup
Ready® Flex.”
Expanded weather, news and agronomic information
on the site will aid D&PL producers and retailers in their
every-day routines. No other cotton seed company is currently
providing this level of information on the Internet, says
Willeke.
Visitors to the sight can run comparisons of D&PL
and competitor products on a region-by-region basis, calculate
seeding rates and number of bags needed to plant x-amount of
acres. They can access season-long agronomic and technical
information and review the many other services and products
offered by D&PL. The new site also houses an expanded level of
product information.
D&PL invites producers to visit the new Web site
and experience the ease of navigation and the breadth of
information and services it provides. The site will be updated
frequently with industry news and agronomic information from
D&PL Technical Services.
“We hope our customers will find this site a
valuable tool and a source for important information that helps
them be successful,” Willeke said.
