- Growers save money, may
win 75 acres of free seed corn through Garst’s True Blue
Customer Reward Program
- Company extends sign-up
date for its customer loyalty program
Growers qualifying for
Garst Seed Company’s True
Blue Customer Reward Program will not only save money on their
seed purchases, but they will also be eligible to win 75 acres
of free Garst® brand seed corn.
Garst is celebrating 75 years in the seed industry and the
75-acre free seed giveaway is part of the company’s anniversary
program. Seventy-five growers who qualify for the customer
loyalty program will win 75 acres of free seed corn. While Garst
has extended the sign-up date to Nov. 23, 2005, for its customer
loyalty program, the deadline to enter the drawing for free seed
is Oct. 1, 2005.
The True Blue Customer Reward program is available to Garst
customers who increase their seed purchases over last year or
plant 100 percent Garst seed in 2006. In addition, the program
offers qualified growers making cash purchases a 10 percent
discount, which represents an extra 2 percent discount on top of
an 8 percent cash discount, if seed is paid for by Nov. 23,
2005.
“Growers should always base their seed selection first on plant
genetics, and Garst has an outstanding lineup of high yielding
hybrids and varieties that add value to the bottom line,” says
Steve Klein, head of marketing at Garst. “This includes a number
of new products in a wide range of maturities. We also are
delivering growers more choices with our AgrisureTM corn
traits.”
For the 2006 planting season, Garst will offer Agrisure GT
hybrids providing a choice for glyphosate-tolerant technology
and Agrisure CB hybrids for another choice in corn borer
protection.
In addition to the cash purchase benefits, the True Blue
Customer Reward program offers incentives to growers who take
advantage of Garst’s financing options. Growers who participate
in Garst’s Gold Plan or the Garst Platinum financing program can
earn an additional 1 percent discount on qualifying purchases
before Nov. 23, 2005.
“We realize growers have numerous choices when selecting seed,”
says Klein. “We appreciate our customers’ business and have
always placed a high emphasis on rewarding customer loyalty.”
