Emergent Genetics
announces a new structure to move forward with its mission to
become an integrated, global seed company better able to achieve
its growth targets and vie with global competitors.
This new organization will be led by Mark Wong and Sam Dryden
out of an Office of the CEO. Mark
will watch over operations and Sam will watch over corporate
matters.
Three geographic Strategic Business Units will be watched over
by V.R. Kaundinya, Executive
Vice President, India Business; Don Threet, Vice President, US
Business and Matt Renkoski, Vice
President, International Business including Argentina.
Charles Turner, will assume the position of Vice President,
Financial Operations with responsibility overseeing and managing
financial control, planning and budgeting for the strategic
business units; Denny Berkey, will be Director, Global Seedstock
& Safety with responsibility for ensuring seed stocks and
production supply, as well as management of safety programs
world-wide. Don Panter, is serving as Chief Technology Officer.
All of these positions will report directly to Mark, who will
also oversee the operations of vegetables.
Bud Hughes will assume the position of Executive Vice President
assisting Sam Dryden with responsibility for charting the long
range course for the company; Dale Keller will be Chief
Financial Officer responsible for corporate finance and
consolidated budgeting and financial reporting; Sandi Eitel will
be Vice President, Human Relations overseeing the corporate-wide
employee and benefits matters. |
