As customer expectations rise in a rapidly changing market
environment, customer service remains an important focus of
The J.C. Robinson Seed Co. To
ensure this commitment continues, the marketing services work
group has realigned.
"We are continuously improving and delivering the best
possible genetics and developing marketing programs to address
the needs of specific customer groups," Jon Blasing, marketing
services director said. "In addition, we must also improve and
deliver the best possible service bundle. When we put together
exceptional products, targeted programs and exceptional service
we will achieve our goal of staying close to our customer."
"We spent a great deal of time analyzing our current customer
systems, identifying areas where customers told us we were doing
well and other areas where we knew we need to grow to help our
customers grow," Blasing said. "It’s with much pleasure that the
result of this planning is announcing a number of promotions, as
well as new roles for members of our team."
The changes are as follows:
Dealer Business Center Department
Connie Martin has been promoted to Leader of the
Dealer Business Center. In addition to
managing the Dealer Business Center staff, Martin is also
responsible for inventory and customer business procedures.
Martin has been with the Company for 10 years, working in the
Dealer Business Center performing various functions during her
tenure.
Kathy Hedrick has taken on the role of Inventory
Specialist. Hedrick is responsible for inventory information
processing. Hedrick has been with the Company and the Dealer
Business Center for 9 years.
Leigh Turille role has changed to Business to Business
Systems Manager. Turille’s focus is on the customer segment
that includes executive management, other Company departments,
finance, and technology partners. Turille also has extensive
experience with the Company and the Dealer Business Center
with her 25 years with the Company of which the last three
years has been as Dealer Business Center manager.
E-commerce Department
Stephanie Perry, a 4 year Company employee, has been
promoted to E-implementation Specialist. Perry’s primary
responsibilities will include the control and access of our
website www.jcrob.com,
training and documentation, special information projects, and
administration of the summer intern program.
Customer Support Department
- "Over the last year the Customer Support department
has found new ways to bring value to our customers," Blasing
said. "The entire department has fine tuned their roles so
that each member can continue to foster the current
relationships they have built with our customers and dealers."
"The changes we made across the Marketing Services area were
made to improve the consistency and quality of our service to
all our customers and to make us easier and more efficient to do
business with," Blasing said.
