Headquartered in Chandigarh, India, Durga Seed Farm
(Regd.) traces its roots to 1969 with the production of
Cauliflower Snowball -16 seed for the first time in
India. Since then, great emphasis has been placed on
research & development, product development & quality
control.
Durga’s research & development centres are
located in 25 hectares with modern green house
structures in tropical & temperate regions where parent
stocks are maintained and first trials on new
developments are performed. The newly developed strains
are first assessed by subject specialists and then put
for trials at different locations having different agro
climatic conditions. Strains which pass all the trials
successfully are then introduced for commercial
cultivation. Thus, assuring the growers that Durga Seed
forms the basis of successful & healthy crop.
