Doctor Seeds Pvt.
Ltd. was founded in 1998 in Ludhiana, Punjab, India by
Dr. Rajinder Singh Punia. Dr. Punia had his degree from
I.A.R.I, Pusa, New Delhi, India a prime and prestigious
research institute. For two years in 1965-67 he was a
Research Fellow in one of the leading universities of
Japan. He has 40 years of experience in seed business
during which he worked for international and national
seed companies. He has trained large number of young
scientists and technologists. Primarily ours is a
vegetable seed company. Lately, we have also included
some field crops as well. Over a period of 10 years, our
breeders have bred about 100 F1 hybrids, 20 Superior
open pollinated varieties. We are handling about 25
vegetable crops. |

Activities
We undertake all the activities like Research &
Development, germplasm collection, screening and
assessment of their performance, trialing and
testing of products against the best checks and
under different agro-climatic conditions,
contract production for domestic and for export,
seed processing, seed health and seed quality,
packaging and marketing etc. |
