DDP Technology
Overview - The technology behind Wolf Trax
Micronutrients represents ground-breaking
innovation that provides you and your business
many benefits.
Wolf Trax DDP
(Dry Dispersible Powder) Technology
The family of innovative DDP® Micronutrients
have been developed using a patented formulation
process, exclusive to Wolf Trax, that is
custom-designed to:
-
Allow
immediate plant uptake and extended feeding
-
Increase plant
availability through optimized pH and
particle size
-
Deliver high
analysis
-
Allow
flexibility in application - Wolf Trax
Micronutrients can be soil applied as a
fertilizer coating, foliar applied or as a
planter box seed treatment
Innovative
coating technology
Wolf Trax patented coating technology represents
a quantum leap forward in micronutrient
application:
-
The physical
properties of DDP Micronutrients allow the
micronutrient particles to coat N, P or K
prills through electrostatic adhesion when
blended together.
-
The chemical
properties of the DDP formulation cause the
micronutrient to adhere to the dry
fertilizer prills. Once coated, it does not
come off even after blending, handling and
transportation.
-
Because each
fertilizer prill is coated with
micronutrient, farmers get superior
distribution of the micronutrient throughout
their field.

Patented
Formulation
All DDP Micronutrients are formulated providing
the following benefits:
-
Unlike
granular micronutrients, which are often
extracted from the byproducts of other
industries, DDP products are scientifically
designed to optimize availability and plant
uptake.
-
DDP
Micronutrients are chemically and physically
formulated for specific purposes; they are
not simple mixtures.
-
In formulating
DDP Micronutrients, Wolf Trax use only
source materials suitable for feed and
humans. This ensures greater user safety and
lower heavy metals.
-
Wolf Trax does
not use waste products from industry in the
manufacture of DDP Micronutrients.
