Morphotek Inc. is a
biotechnology company founded in 1999.
The company uses it’s proprietary technology, called morphogenics,
to create genetically diverse organisms that are useful for many
applications in today’s multibillion-dollar Agricultural, Chemical,
Genomic, and Pharmaceutical Industries, including: genetically
modified crops for pest protection and new output traits; modified
plants for drug discovery; modified microbes for manufacturing of
chemical and pharmaceutical products; modified mammalian cells and
microbes for the development of pharmaceutical agents and new reagents
for gene discovery for pharmaceutical and military applications; and
the creation of plants and microbes for bioremediation, which is the
