Icon is a
newly released Salinas type iceberg that is performing superbly in the desert
when planted from mid-November through the first of December.
This variety is
consistently uniform, producing very large solid heads, free of tip burn. And
excellent, excellent texture! Icon takes off and grows for you, it’s an easy
producer with high yields.
Compared to other varieties of similar adaptability,
Icon shows a larger head, and is darker green. Icon is performing well in the
Salinas Valley as well and is being trialed for spring harvest in Huron.
Suitable for box or bulk.
