In about 39 days Fortune’s medium
vigorous bush has delivered high yields of smooth, cylindrical, bright
yellow fruit. Its sturdy neck limits breakage thus yielding a greater
percentage of marketable fruit. The precocious gene which may delay or
partially mask mild virus infections enhances fortune’s versatility. It
also allows early harvest of bright yellow fruit for baby vegetable
markets.
