 Split
Pill is unique with its splitting character. The pellet does
not melt, but splits open and creates optimum conditions for quick
development of the seedling.
The coating material is designed to allow
free and quick access of moisture and oxygen to the seed. A greater
part of the greenhouse seedling production in Europe is coated in Split
Pill.

 Where high temperatures are recorded (Southern
Europe)
during the greenhouse seedling production, Split Pill is
combined with Incotec’s proven Thermocure process. We noticed that
the genetic material is changing and, taking this fact into account,
we had to adjust our priming method. As original test methods do no
show any changes in the genetic material, a new test method had to be
developed.

This new test method, the so-called "Controlled
Deterioration Test" (CDT), has helped us in adjusting our priming
method in such a way that we are able to use the right priming method
for each species in order to obtain the optimal quality, especially
regarding shelf life.
Split
Pill Thermocure provides the seed with the necessary priming
treatment to germinate under these high conditions.
