ATTRIBUTES OF THE DISCO COATING LIQUIDS
Water soluble

All the DISCO materials are very fast drying and are water soluble, which makes pesticide mixing excellent. DISCO can be diluted to relative high rates. This ability makes them very suitable for film coating of non-smooth seed species. DISCO ’s are non-phytotoxic to the seed and especially on high sugar containing seed they will have a positive effect on the germination.

Shelf life

All DISCO types have a shelf life of one year when stored at maximum 15-20°C in closed containers.

Special DISCO formulations

If you require a special film coat liquid, Incotec is pleased to offer you our services. We are able to develop tailor-made DISCO’s, which can be held exclusive for you.

Biologicals

Please visit our DISCO CARE page for information on biologicals.

Chemical companies

Incotec has worldwide close co-operation with Bayer Ag., Novartis and Rhone Poulenc. Incotec has developed special film coat processes and recipes for seed treatment applications of new pesticide molecules like Gaucho and Cruiser. Due to close co-operation we are able to test and develop new DISCO film coat liquids at a very early stage.

Micro nutrients

Deficiency of micronutrients during germination and seedling stage can have a tremendous negative influence on the final plant stand and yield. For this reason Incotec is working together with various suppliers of Micronutrients to test and screen the most optimal seed treatment application methods and DISCO formulations. Our research department is developing new film coat liquids in which the release of the Micronutrients will be most optimal. In certain cases slow release film coat liquids are required to enable a controlled release of Micronutrients.
