ANPROS is the
Chilean organization of producers, distributors, marketers,
investigator and other organizations that sympathize with the
achievement of the objectives established by the statutes. It
was founded in Santiago, in December of 1959 by a group of
farmers that were members of the ministry of Agriculture’s
certified seed registry Office.
ANPROS mission is being the voice that represents its associates
in an effective and efficient manner in all the topics
concerning the development, marketing, importing and exporting
of seeds.
ANPROS is member of ISF. ASTA, APSA, and ASA.
In the international context ANPROS is a member of the
International Seed Federation (ISF) with participation in its
annual congress and in the directory of this organization.
ANPROS is also member of the Asian & Pacific Seed Association
(APSA) and founding member of the recently formed Seed
Association of the Americas (SAA).
The current conditions that Chile has to produce quality seeds
is guaranteed by a legal protection system that allows to have
phytosanitary wealth of excellence, certification systems
according to OECD international regulations, international
control of production and quality according to ISTA regulations.
