This year, two new varieties of melon are ones of Chia Tai Farm's standout products. Mori San melon is a premium-grade half-Japanese melon that Chia Tai has been breeding to get the seeds that are easy to grow and suitable for the cultivation environment in Thailand so that growers can enjoy quality produce that meets the standard with the fruit size of approximately 1.5 - 2.0 kg. It is unique for the net skin, nice T-shaped stem resembling a samurai sword, soft green flesh that is juicy, aromatic, and sweet with a measurement of 14 - 16 Brix. The shelf life of the produce is also longer than normal melons.

Aiko melon is a real Japanese premium-grade melon that Chia Tai has imported the quality seeds and cultivated with great care. Aiko melon is in oval shape with the fruit size of 1.2 - 1.5 kg. The skin of a melon is bright green and has a clear gold net pattern on it. The T-shape stem looks like a samurai sword, while the flesh is orange as is typical of Japanese melons. Smooth and soft, the flesh tastes sweet, and delectable with a measurement of 12 - 15 Brix. It has a high nutritional value and contains beta-carotene.

Chia Tai Farm's melon professionals develop both types of melon using safe growing techniques, meticulousness, and care in every step. To ensure all-day sunlight and best environmental control, all melons are planted in a south-facing greenhouse. Chia Tai Farm melon cultivation is similar to a handicraft that requires love and delicacy at all stages of growth, such as seedlings, where the seeds must be arranged in the same direction so that each plant receives the same amount of sunlight before entering the incubator to control the temperature and humidity, which helps to increase good germination rate. It is essential to grow only one melon per plant so that the nutrients of the entire plant can be contained in a single melon. Great care and expertise are required to ensure lovely net skin. The melon experts will scrub and dust every melon since the fruit is still small in order for the melon to react and produce a prominent net-patterned surface. At Chia Tai Farm, melon cultivation does not only depend on outstanding breeds, but also on modern and safe technology and innovation, combined with attention to detail at every stage of the planting process. All these are to ensure that all Chia Tai Farm melon varieties, including the newly introduced Aiko and Mori San as well as Morrakot and Golden Sweet melons, have distinctive skin, form, and flavor, which are typical of Chia Tai Farm melons, while firmly positioning Chia Tai Farm as the top-tier leader and expert of melons in Thailand.
