90th annual North Dakota Crop Improvement and Seed Association conference set for February 7 - Information about new seed varieties will be among the topics

The 90th annual North Dakota Crop Improvement and Seed Association (NDCISA) conference will be held at the Radisson Hotel in Bismarck, N.D., on Feb. 7.
Established in 1929, the NDCISA is a nonprofit organization that works closely with the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station, North Dakota State Seed Department and North Dakota State University Extension to promote general crop improvement practices and increase seed varieties best adapted to North Dakota.
The schedule and featured speakers are:
- 7:30 a.m. - registration
- 8 a.m. - committee meetings
- 8:45 a.m. - business meeting
- 10 a.m. - break
- 10:15 a.m. – Current market analysis and predictions - Eugene Grainer, Heartland Investor Services, Inc.
- 11:45 a.m. - lunch
- 12:15 p.m. – Crop/Seed Development at Monticello in Jefferson's Time - Clay S. Jenkinson, Dakota Sky Education, Inc.
- 1:15 p.m. – NDSU research and breeding update - Ana Heilman-Morales, Richard Horsley and Tom Walk, NDSU Department of Plant Sciences
