- Manage
Plant Operations, Customer Service &
Logistics Department and Lab/Quality
Assurance Department

Responsible for managing inventory
availability, evaluating appropriate action
and best use, developing system tools for
analysis and management, and serving as
focal point for inventory questions
- Prioritize
and coordinate plant conditioning and
work-order flow with Sales and Customer
Service to meet and/or exceed customer
expectations
- Quality
Control - Manage seed lab to ensure all lots
are tested on a timely basis to ensure
accurate labeling and marketability
- Work
closely with production and sales department
to coordinate new crop deliveries to plants
and keep supply in line with demand
utilizing current and developing new
information tools
- Identify,
develop and implement new technologies and
procedures to improve quality and efficiency
- Coordinate
and manage company-wide safety program
- Monitor
and ensure regulatory compliance at all seed
conditioning facilities
Educational
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in Agronomy,
Agriculture or a related field
Skills,
Knowledge, and Experience
-
Strong leadership skills
-
Proven managerial experience
-
Broad knowledge of safety and
environmental systems and procedures
-
Ability to interface with
management, growers, staff and other
functional areas of the community
-
Knowledge of seed conditioning
methods.

Working knowledge of budgets and
financials statements.
