We are currently seeking a Site Capacity Planner in Pasco, WA. This position will own and maintain the site Rough Cut Capacity Plan (CROP), ensuring all assets are balanced and optimally used to deliver the site processing plan.
Accountabilities
- Develop daily processing schedules for Conditioning, Treat/Pack, Seed Health based on customer order demand
- Work with all key stakeholders to ensure the proactive resolution of all supply issues, with the primary aim of preserving the customer order due date at all times.
- Primary point of contact for all processing capacity related issues for the site.
- Overall accountability for planning based SAP Master Data for each of the site work centres.
- Facilitate the site capacity planning process by maintaining site KPI’s related to processing
- Works with plant and planning leaders in leading operational meetings.
- Maintain overview of site planned capacity vs attainable capacity, including historical overview
- Enter and maintain seed conditioning, treat / pack, and delivery data into SAP and off system.
- Ensure customer satisfaction indexing obtained through tracking adherences to desired delivery dates.
- Provide proactive processing and inventory information to crop planning
- Act as the primary contact for enquiries for all crops at site, managing short term amendments / imbalances in the plans caused by forecast changes and/or production/processing problems to preserve the original customer promise date.
- Participate in site capacity planning process (Requirements & Operations Planning process) by maintaining an up-to-date plan, timely communication of KPI reports and providing timely updates around supply/demand issues as they arise.
- Work with inventory team by providing forecast and historical usage to ensure all consumables in conditioning, treating and packaging are readily available
Qualifications
Requirements
- Four-year degree or equivalent work experience in an agriculture, manufacturing, or business-related field.
- Experience with or understanding of capacity planning and process scheduling. Seed processing experience a plus
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Must be authorized to work for Syngenta in the United States without work authorization sponsorship
